Late October, back to the routine of a trip to the coast at Holland-on-Sea for a swim in the sea, now positively chilly, despite the bright sunny morning.

But what a treat it was to discover a new enterprise – a pop-up beach sauna on free trial to anyone who wants to give it a go.

This week I did a triple-dip, alternating between sauna and sea. Incredible feeling and a joy to spend time with the other swimmers.

We’ll be back next week for sure.
